Dispatch undertook an initiative to build out a new application for the enterprise side of our business. This meant designing for net new users, and incorporating key functions that customers previously performed in other systems. This also coincided with a branding refresh.

Dispatch Enterprise App

Design Goals & Process

The design goal was to create a long term vision for the app, as well as a scaled back MVP that could be completed within a few months. The product team identified a handful of key areas for this MVP: Profiling, Messaging, and Onboarding.

I collaborated tightly with multiple product managers, and sourced ideas from across the company through design sessions. Interviews with our customers and anecdotal feedback from sales prospects provided the majority of input to inform the MVP.

Collaborative Design

Multiple design sessions helped us brainstorm and prioritize potential problems to solve. Group sketching and presentations helped us create numerous potential solutions which we could turn into prototypes to validate with users.
